Day 9 Twin Peaks & Fisherman's Wharf

Left the house early to climb up a couple of hills at Twin Peaks. If you go early it's easier to find parking. Ya the view's not bad.

Looking at the other side, it's pretty windy up here.

Whatever goes up must come down.

Colourful houses, the whole city is a painting!

Pastels with dots of vibrant colour, makes for great movement and composition.

Took a drive through downtown to Fisherman's Wharf.

Cool white bridge in the background with 2 levels for cars! Why don't people talk about this bridge?

Passing through all the different Piers.

I love these street cars with no advertisements in bold colours.

Stopping into places to eat, smells of fried fish and waffle cones..

Hmmmm... What to order?

Breaded fish.

Breaded zucchini fries!

Having a good time.

The place we ate at. After all that food we didn't have room for the chowder soup served in bread but it looked interesting.

Pretty flowers by the pier.

The seagulls here are GIGANTIC and not afraid.

Hunting for fried fish lever overs.

Took more Fisherman's Wharf photos but I'll post them later, here's our drive back home and down the street to the water.

Interesting local plants by the water's edge, so many colours!

Growing in sand.

The view ain't bad. Too windy and chilly for a beach day but I can't complain.

Pear beside a white almond wafer, I love giving desert names to all the colours of the houses here.

Banana cream pie.

Back home doing painting and eating a banana. The banana was noticeably good causing me to look down at the sticker, socially responsible and not hard to find too!
