Green Anole: acrylic on canvas 12 x 12 x 1.5 inches 2018 $500
I finished my new painting here. It took me awhile and to be honest I changed the colours around quite a bit. It took me awhile to really decide what I was going for and how to achieve it. He's got a pretty pink dewlap, either marking its territory or attracting a mate, he fades back into the room of green also. Both flashy and elusive like a human wink, be careful of getting caught staring. Part of a series of very individualistic reptile rooms I'm working on. Each reptile adapting and dare I say thriving in their perspective housing units. Could these be the characters I meet on the day to day?
