The Furry Lisa Is Spoken For!

I sold my Furry Lisa painting back in December! It went to a lovely home with several of my other paintings, so great to have a nice big collection of my art somewhere 💗 Here she is in my studio for a last took before she went off into the night.

PSA: Fanny Packs Are Back!

Who purchased my Radioactive Raccoon Fanny Pack? Thank you for the support! I wasn't sure anyone was gonna buy these but figured I'd upload as many things as I could cause hey, it's art and you never know. I love the thought that my racoon here is out in the world somewhere, scanning the streets with his big luminescent eyes, maybe looking for a treat 💚

LATE ENTRY: My Official Holiday Statement, 2019

On special occasion I like to do a riff on my Furry Lisa. Digital alterations of a parody painting I did of myself as the Mona Lisa, but pink and furry. They're fun and cute and don't take me long to do, 1 to 3 hours or so. I have so many of them now I finally put together a comprehensive picture album on Facebook in case you want to see the Furry Lisa do Chinese New Years, Valentines Day, Hanukkah, Nurses Week, Kwanzaa, Happy New Year and Boxing Day etc, etc. Furry Lisa began as a funny artist and a nurse, they called her a Renaissance woman and a polymath. Turns out she's also quite the crony capitalist, she'll celebrate just about anything to get the attention of those click, clicks!

Koala-ty Painting

Koala In The Bedroom 4 x 4 ft acrylic on canvas, 2019

Finished this painting back in October but forgot to blog. Koalas are cute, koalas sleep a lot, this one's hanging out with a few other buds in the Australian bushland with a mushroom nightlight. A number of hidden characters in this one, look closely! These large animal paintings take me a good 3 to 4 months, painting about 2.5 hours a day, mixing all my own colours. In my fantasy koalas are happy and safe and have adapted nicely to the human environment I guess. Where are all the humans in these paintings? Open to interpretation..
